Let’s talk Breitling! Specifically, pre-owned Breitling watches. At Raymond Lee Jewelers, we love Breitling. Admittedly, we’re pretty crazy about all of our gorgeous, pre-owned luxury watches. Otherwise we wouldn’t have dedicated the past three decades to building the most impressive collection of estate watches in the country, right? Right!

The next thing we look for is the manufacture – or brand name. We want watches built to stand the test of…um, time. We believe that luxury goods that come with such a high price tag should be made to last, to be enjoyed by their original owners, of course – but also to be passed down to the next generation. We only make exceptions for our favorite four wheeled toys. But when it comes to wristwear, we want longevity. And a quality, well-known brand name often (not always, but mostly) guarantees that. So when we’re evaluating a watch we might buy, we want the big names – Rolex, Audemars, Patek Philippe, Jager-LeCoultre, and more. But one of the names always on our short list is Breitling.
Once we’ve got a gorgeous Breitling in our buyers’ office, under evaluation, we look for condition. While some of our buyers would be perfectly content buying rare, possibly out of work Breitlings just for treasure hoarding keeping in the vault, cooler heads usually prevail and we buy high quality Breitlings in good condition. Or at least in a condition our expert watchmakers can work with to restore.
This means that the pre-owned Breitling watches in our showcase have been vetted for authenticity, quality, and operating condition. It also means that as soon as one catches your eye, you can walk out with it on your wrist as soon as you say “I’ll take it.”
Breitlings are a fantastic addition to any watch collection. We love seeing our watch aficionados upgrade and collect as they learn more and more about watches, and selling someone their first Breitling is always a fun day. Breitling is a luxury brand most famous for inventing the modern chronograph. They also are one of the only manufactures to produce its own mechanical chronographs start to finish in-house. They’re also one of the last great Swiss watch brands still operating as an independent family owned company.
Since 1884, Breitling has been at the cutting edge of aviation technology, with close ties to the skies. That’s why so many of their models have names like Aerospace or Windrider.
