Top 10 Halo Engagement Rings
Halo engagement rings – yay or nay?
If 2014 taught us anything, it’s that halo engagement rings aren’t going anywhere any time soon. This huge trend swept the world of bridal jewelry to create the most popular style of engagement ring Boca Raton has ever seen. Scratch that – it’s not just the Boca engagement ring scene that’s got the halo effect.

Everyone from celebrities to your college roommate is rocking this stunning style. And what’s not to love? A halo setting instantly makes any diamond look bigger. The smaller surround of sparkling diamonds adds so much fire and brilliance to the ring’s presence on your hand. The impact of the halo gives your ring huge visual weight. It’s popular with any lady who wants a large engagement ring (so…a pretty significant chunk of the population.)

While we’ve always loved, designed, and carried our own halo engagement ring settings, this year we added to the party. We brought on three major designer engagement ring lines in 2014, including Verragio engagement rings, Uneek engagement rings and Gabriel & Co. engagement rings. These three designer lines each offer something different, but they’re all eye-catching new members of the Raymond Lee Jewelers family. Combined, our own designs and these three lines garnered a lot of attention this year – here are the top 10 halo engagement rings of 2014.
This beauty was a fan favorite and it’s easy to see why. A massive, high quality 5 carat round brilliant diamond perches beautifully in a delicate Uneek halo settings.
Our next halo was a hit with our contest entrants – yes, we gave this beauty away in 2014. It was one of our most popular giveaways of all time, and the lucky Erica B. got to take it home! This setting is also extremely popular thanks to its round brilliant diamond set in a square halo. This mimics the trendy cushion cut in a unique way.
This halo is always a favorite. A stunning 1.07 carat E color center stone is breathtaking on its own, but in combination with a delicate halo and two thin, beautiful rose gold wedding bands stacked on either side, it’s a showstopper.
What’s better than a huge cushion cut in a halo setting? One with round brilliant accent stones in their own mini half moon halos. Not only is it huge, it’s unique and beautiful.
This amazing custom halo engagement ring is one of our most asked about pieces. Everyone wants the scoop on this gorgeous creation. We used one of our lovely white gold Verragio halo settings to frame this radiant cut diamond – we designed the entire ring around the owner’s original engagement diamond. By using the same stone we kept her sentimental value but upgraded the setting to a modern look she treasures . We “stacked” the ring with a matching Verragio wedding band to create a completely custom bridal set. We would (and will!) do it again in a heartbeat.
Clearly this shot is designed to please – there’s a halo for everyone in this bunch. This is a mix of our own creations and (mostly) Uneek engagement ring settings. They’re all set with diamonds, rather than the Cubic Zirconias we usually use in our Uneek display pieces, and they show how gorgeous different shaped diamonds (in different color grades) shine in these mountings. You’ll also recognize the 5 carat round from above on the ring finger!
This double shot of emerald cut halos captured the affection of our Art Deco engagement ring lovers. On top, a 4 carat emerald cut shines in a white halo, while the bottom diamond gets an appropriate dash of color thanks to invisibly set princess cut emeralds.
We captioned this picture that this ring would always have our hearts, and apparently our followers agree! A gorgeous candlelit Old European Cut diamond is surrounded by a thin halo of emeralds and a bright outer halo of white diamonds. It seems our fans love the mix of white diamond and emerald engagement rings.
