Measure your wrist
You can use either a tape measure or you can download and print the Cartier Wrist Sizer.
Cartier Wrist Sizer (best option)
Note: If you use the Cartier Wrist Sizer above, before printing, be sure the “Page Scaling” option is set to “None” in the dialogue box. Also, the Cartier Wrist Sizer needs to be printed on full-size A4 paper.
Follow the instructions and make a note of your wrist size.
Instructions:
- Cut out the wrist sizer from the A4 paper carefully. Cut a small line where it says to cut on the wrist sizer.
- Curl the wrist sizer into a circle and insert the pointed end through the small opening that you just cut.
- Place your hand through the wrist sizer and delicately pull the pointed end that’s between the slit until the wrist sizer is encircling your wrist comfortably. It should be just tight enough that it measures your wrist accurately but not too tight that it presses in on your skin. Also, it should be measured around your wrist bone, which will be the highest point of your wrist.
- The number that is aligned with the arrow is your wrist size. If the measurement is between two sizes, use the larger size if you have any doubts (we mentioned this further above). However, take this added .5cm into consideration when adding the “1-2cm for Cartier recommended fits (tight, exact, loose)”.
Cartier is a European company so all measurements of Love bracelets are in centimeters.
Tape Measure
Use a tape measure. Wrap the tape measure around the wrist on which you plan to wear your Cartier bracelet. Make a note of the number at the point where the tape meets the 0.
REMEMBER
To ensure the bracelet fits comfortably, add 1.5 cm to your wrist measurement. From here, you can add or subtract half a centimeter if you’d like, based on your preference.

But what if your wrist size is 15 cm – so adding 1.5 cm is 16.5….
When measuring your wrist, it’s recommended to round up if your wrist is in the middle of a measurement i.e. 15.5cm will be considered 16cm. Another way to look at it is, add 1.5cm to your wrist size and that’s the perfect fit for a Cartier Love Bracelet. It won’t be too loose or too tight, as 1cm up is tight fit and 2cm up is loose fit. So, if you are in the middle, always choose regular fit, which is 1.5cm added to your wrist size.
