Aisle Style: Radiant Orchid Bridesmaids

This year’s Pantone Color of the Year is the bright, lush Radiant Orchid. It’s no surprise that many 2014 (and 2015) brides are culling inspiration from this bright combination of fuchsia, magenta and violet. It’s a gorgeous color for a tropical wedding, or a punchy color to warm up a winter wedding. You really can’t go wrong. And because it’s such a fun, youthful color, it makes an excellent choice for short bridesmaids dresses. We love to mix fine jewelry and costume jewelry when getting all dolled up as ‘maids, so if we were lucky enough to wear this Kirribila Blythe dress, we’d likely add some white gold or silver diamond earrings – unless of course the bride wants us to wear costume statement earrings! And adding a coordinating pop of purple in the form of this amazing Purple sapphire tennis bracelet. When you’re wearing this bright of a color, it’s best to go neutral with the rest of your accessories. We love these Nina ‘Marisol’ Glittering cage strap sandals, especially because they’re a fantastic look for less for Jimmy Choo Lang sandals. If you can splurge on those in nude, they’re perfect for this dress. But, most bridesmaids are typically a little financially strained by the time the wedding rolls around, so a fantastic shoe deal is always welcome! And for the perfect clutch to keep your lip gloss/mints/bridal emergency supplies, this Vince Camuto mirrored clutch plays up the hot geometric trend we can’t get enough of.All that’s missing is the ultimate bridesmaid accessory – the bouquet. We can’t find the source of this amazing floral creation, but we adore the lush texture, the richness of the purples, and the varying shades of colors.
