Auction Action: Art, Artifacts & Important Watches Sale

Auction Action: Art, Artifacts & Important Watches Sale

It’s time for another installation of Auction Action! Sotheby’s important watches sale promises to be exciting, and we can’t wait to see the hammer price on the rare Patek Philippe (Lot 182) and the rose gold Greubel Forsey. Not to mention a whole slew of Rolexes, Vacheron Constantin and Jaeger-LeCoultre. Over at Bonham’s, this week’s highlights include ancient Corinthian pottery, Roman bronze studs and mounts circa 1st – 3rd century A.D. and an extremely cool aubergine marbled glass flask. Christie’s, meanwhile, is all art, all week. Impressionist works reign, but modernist pieces are to be found as well!
