Recently announced by both companies PR Departments, Department stores Neiman Marcus and Target are teaming up on a collaborative holiday accessory line.
The 24 famous designers who have created pieces for the collection include Alice + Olivia; Altuzarra; Band of Outsiders; Brian Atwood; Carolina Herrera; Derek Lam; Diane von Furstenberg; Eddie Borgo; Jason Wu; Judith Leiber; Lela Rose; Marchesa; Marc Jacobs; Oscar de la Renta; Philip Crangi; Prabal Gurung; Proenza Schouler; Rag & Bone; Robert Rodriguez; Rodarte; Skaist-Taylor; Thom Browne; Tory Burch; and Tracy Reese.
The 50 or more piece collection will include price points to cater to shoppers of both stores, ranging from about $8 to $500. Both department stores will be carrying the entire collection, selling the pieces for the same prices. To celebrate the new partnership, the companies will donate $1 million to the Council of Fashion Designers of America after the holiday season.
The collection is said to include jewelry and accessories catering to many tastes.
Although the TV, print, and social media marketing campaign is set to release in November, talk is rampant through online communities of speculation of the collection.
