Planning A South Florida Wedding
There are just about a million decisions and plans to be made for a wedding – regardless of where the event of a lifetime will take place. However, if you are planning to have your wedding in South Florida that initial decision may be even more difficult! There is an infinite number of fairytale white sand beaches, tucked away pastel-colored towns and of course opulent resorts, hotels, and venues. One thing is for sure, anywhere you choose in sunny South Florida for your wedding, whether it is Boca Raton, Palm Beach or Miami, it is sure to be an absolute dream. There are options for just about any type of wedding from the large and formal to the understated and bohemian inspired beach ceremony.
Here are a few of our favorite cities and wedding spots in South Florida, and of course the wedding jewelry to match it!
Miami is the glitz and glam international destination center of South Florida. From the beaches to the hotels there is everything in between for entertainment. A pinnacle of the art deco movement of the 1920s, with an entire historic art deco district, the city is filled with design and style. The great names of the Art Deco movement have truly become icons like Rene Lalique’s Victoire sculpture, the Chrysler Building in New York City, and Louis Cartier for his Egyptienne chiming clock, Miami is no different. Granted a Miami wedding does not have to include the Art Deco style. There is every type of venue for your dream design and theme.
First, an incredible 18k white gold ring with a 3.08ct Colombian emerald diamond in the center. One glance at this gorgeous piece and the art deco design is clear. The baguette cut diamonds forming the octagonal halo around the emerald are accentuated by the heart-shaped prongs that hold the emerald. This entire ring is intricately crafted with a decorative undercarriage and a triple diamond set band with approximately 0.35ct bead-set white round brilliant diamonds.
Second is another impeccable right-hand ring. This platinum 2.08ct old European cut diamond is designed into an art deco circular style. It features a large central diamond surrounded by a halo of approximately 0.57ct of emeralds followed by a succeeding halo comprised of approximately 0.43ctw round brilliant accent diamonds. Finally, there are diamonds along the sides of the band each intricately placed.
Another art deco style jewelry piece this bracelet is a vintage platinum and diamond interlinked geometric shape design. It has approximately 5ct of diamonds with a hand constructed tube clasp with a safety chain. This piece is intricately designed and crafted masterfully.
Finally, a timeless timepiece. This Helbros diamond platinum vintage art deco watch is a lovely accent for the bride’s wrist. Evocative of a bygone time it remains modern with its art deco lines. A stunning diamond bezel surrounds the white dial leading to the bracelet. These are round and marquise cut white diamonds.
Next is Fort Lauderdale, not far from Miami this city has it all. A more relaxed and albeit slightly less touristy city Fort Lauderdale is only a mere 45 minutes away from Miami. Here you will find ballrooms, resorts and a number of indoor and outdoor venues. There are classics, there are moderns and everything in between. The only requirement is a love of good weather and tropical thoroughfares.
In this instance, we have selected a few of the truest blues from our curated collection. The Fort Lauderdale beaches are sure to have all of your guests marveling and why not wear a bit of that blue? Here are some of our favorite Atlantic blue Florida coast jewels you and your partner can wear for your Fort Lauderdale wedding, no matter the theme.
First for the lucky gentleman we have a unique set of cufflinks pairing pearls, aquamarine, and diamonds. Reminiscent of the sea and refined in its intricate design this pair of cufflinks is sure to add a special touch to the groom’s suit.

Finally, another exquisite aquamarine piece 14k white gold emerald-cut earrings. These feature six accent diamonds and approximately 12ct of aquamarines. Overall, the emerald cut gives these aquamarines an infinite blue depth like the bottom of white sand beaches.
Third, on our list is Boca Raton, known to locals as simply Boca this gem of a city sees more weddings a year than you can count! There are fine luxury hotels, waterfront venues, golf courses, estates and endless beaches. Also our home base, Boca Raton is reminiscent of Caribbean pastels and colonial architecture with the modern and thriving city life. Best known for, its upscale attractions and museums Boca is a destination for far more than one night. Equally important, if you host your wedding here you can be sure guests will be staying for more! Further, what is better than having your wedding somewhere your closest family and friends can experience the better parts of life?
First is a pendant you can wear on your wedding day and ever after as a reminder of your special day. Similarly, to the dolphins you are very likely to see swimming about Boca Raton, even if your wedding is at the Waldorf Astoria or the Addison, this 18k yellow gold and oxidized white gold pendant feature an emerald detail as the dolphin’s eye.
Next, is a gorgeous right-hand ring that matches the pastel party that is Boca Raton. Glam and gorgeous like this wedding destination this ring can be a strong addition to your wedding jewelry. Next, is a city that is almost an island paradise just not quite the island part. Separated from the mainland by the Lake Worth Lagoon-Palm Beach is a glamorous beach escape like no other. Hotels, art and antiquities boutiques, beaches and gilded mansions line its streets. As a matter of fact, the intercoastal that separates Palm Beach gives it that extra bit of exclusivity as if you needed any more in South Florida! Here you can find some of the country’s best luxury wedding destinations. In the light of the unique tropical setting your wedding can be beach inspired or traditional and strictly indoors. While this one can be worn on its own it is a lovely addition to the peridot cuff above. Furthermore, both of these bracelets are stackable and will cinch right into one another.
Finally, the true green of Palm Beach’s palms. These stunning 18k two-tone gold drop earrings feature deep green 14.4ct heart-shaped emeralds dangling on the end of 4.5ct of round brilliant, pear-shaped and marquise cut diamonds.
West Palm Beach
Another Palm Beach, West Palm Beach is located on the proper mainland. Just across the Lake Worth Lagoon from Palm Beach here, you will find just as many incredible wedding venues and locations. There are spots overlooking the Intracoastal and dreamy venues to accommodate every wedding from the small and intimate to the large and elaborate. The locations are elegant, traditional and you are more than likely to get a chandelier or two. Finally, below are some intricately designed stunner chandelier earrings we think would go splendidly with your West Palm Beach wedding.
First, are these tri-color 18k gold flowering earrings. These gorgeous unique pieces have yellow, white and rose gold shaped into swooping swirls and spring flowers each featuring a colorful central stone. There are approximately 6.29ct of diamonds and these earrings have omega backs. The natural and organic design paired with the gem’s light coloration make these the tropical trinkets suited for almost all West Palm Beach weddings.
Second, are these gorgeous intricately designed diamond chandelier earrings. The swirling and swooping design have a hanging oval in the center and a feature diamond pendant. There are pear-shaped and round brilliant diamonds. Classic and elaborate these are ideal for a traditional wedding ceremony theme.
Finally, the place of Polo and ponies, Wellington. This part of South Florida is reserved for those who love nature and horses. The gorgeous greenery is only outdone by the sumptuous Polo and Golf clubs abounding. For the couple that wants an equine feel to their special ceremony, Wellington is the ideal location. It is only a few short miles distance from the other South Florida locations mentioned but it is a tucked away gem. Further inland from West Palm Beach it has got colonial classic Spanish villas and gorgeous waterfront venues.
Further, keeping with the equestrian theme here are two of our favorite equine jewelry pieces ideal for a refined look on your wedding day.
First, for the bride a unique and sparkly 18k white gold diamond horse pin. The horse is in full motion making it over a high jump. The horse’s eye is a blue sapphire while his body is covered in 4.5ct of diamonds. Furthermore, this pin has loops on the back that can fold out to be worn on a chain as a pendant.
