Auction Action: Jewelry Galore (And very important diamonds!)

This is an exciting auction week! With an Important watch sale at Christie’s seeing several lots realize way more than their estimates, timepieces are hot hot hot. Extraordinary Rolexes and Patek Philippes (along with a generous helping of Audemars) make this ongoing sale one to watch. Later this week, Christie’s hosts its magnificent jewels sale in Geneva, which promises to be fabulous – up for dibs are the D colored internally flawless 101.73ct pear shaped diamond, along with two smaller important diamonds, also pear shapes, also D colored internally flawless diamonds weighing 10.54 and 10.21 carats respectively. Sotheby’s, not to be outdone, is hosting its own Magnificent and Noble jewels sale featuring the collections of Gina Lollobrigida (and royal jewels and vintage Bulgari galore). And Bonham’s has 3 (!) separate jewelry auctions this week featuring a wide variety of estate, vintage and antique jewelry. Happy Bidding!
