Hayley Paige Wedding Dresses Are Everything You Ever Need
Are you a trend-setting, fashion forward bride who wants – no, needs – her wedding dress to reflect her every day style? The classic look – while lovely – isn’t for you. You need cutting edge. You need gorgeousness that no one else has seen yet, you need to be ahead of the curve. Well only one wedding dress designer is drawing those curves and making sure they fit yours to a T: Miss Hayley Paige.
“Fresh, lively, and confident, Hayley Paige embraces sweet femininity with a touch of edginess.” So explains the intro to the line, a part of JLM Couture (also home to bridal heavyweights like Alvina Valenta, Jim Hjelm and Lazaro.) The line, priced pretty well, isn’t as jaw-droopingly expensive as Vera Wang, nor is it as precious as Monique Lhuillier. It’s something else entirely, designed for, priced for and worn by young, trendy brides walking down the aisle for the first time.
The dresses – each named for the spirit of the bride who the designer thinks it embodies – are a match made in heaven for millennial brides. And it should come as no surprise, the designer is as young, effervescent and exceptional as her brand. Hayley Gutman graduated from Cornell in 2007 with her degree in Apparel Design before she landed a position designing at the now-shuttered Priscilla of Boston (who owns David’s Bridal.) After years of designing for the likes of Marchesa and Melissa Sweet at Priscilla of Boston, Hayley left to launch her eponymous line at JLM.
Hayley Paige dresses are all manufactured in the US, so the quality is assured to be fantastic, while supporting American made goods.
Paige’s vision revolves around her brides. She names each dress after its completion, hoping to name it for the bride she sees wearing it. As referenced above, she’s not afraid to be cheeky – this bejeweled wedding gown with a stone and gem back would be perfect for the Game of Thrones queen, but looks equally stunning on a real bride.
Paige’s attention to detail is perfect for brides who like to take a classic silhouette like the keyhole gown , and shift it into high gear. Layers of cascading tulle add interest to a classic A-line, and a heavily embellished back make this gown stand out.
Even her simpler gowns have fine details that make them stand out. The flowy, constructed tulle and organza layers of this gown are perfectly ethereal, yet futuristic. A Fairy-tale like lace bustier top moves into 2014 (and 2015) with on-trend geometric “cutout” straps.
No angle of a Hayley Paige dress is left untouched. Thoughtful details make them gorgeous from every point of view.
Her newest collection shows off the tribal patterns booming in ready to wear fashion right now. She effortlessly incorporates bedazzled chevron in a way that’s fresh but not too fad-like.
No words for this one.
Hayley Paige, recently engaged herself, is poised to continue to grow her bridal empire. The young designer has a massively adoring fan base and her dresses go viral on social media regularly. We’re very excited to see what else she has up her (likely crystal encrusted) sleeve.
