Graduation Gift Ideas
Graduation Season is upon us in full force, which means plenty of gift-giving occasions – even if your thoughtful present is last minute. Personally, I find this one of the hardest gifts to buy. You want to congratulate the new graduate, who is often someone you haven’t seen in a while, but you also want to get them a practical gift to prepare them for the work and life ahead. You want to try and find the balance between spoiling them for their great accomplishment and getting something practical they can use as they enter the professional realm. My sister just recently graduated from college and when purchasing her a gift, this was the mentality we tried to use. And I find that jewelry, especially watches, is the best way to find this balance. My personal choice for an elegant watch for a younger generation is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Ladies Watch with the stainless steel case and bracelet.
This is an elegant watch that she will be able to wear almost regardless of the setting, whether it be professional or otherwise.
But then again there is always the argument that after graduation, we have the rest of our lives to be practical, so no point in starting now. Get her something she will really love, spoil her with the only man she needs in her life right now, David Yurman.
