Chrissy Tiegen and John Legend Married!
After years of wedding planning, our favorite tweeting model Chrissy Tiegen and John Legend tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Lake Como, Italy. The model has said before that she had the wedding planned – then scrapped everything. But it looks like whatever she’s been up to paid off – from the few grainy pictures we can see, the wedding looked like a fairy tale.
Chrissy wore not one, not two, but three Vera Wang dresses to her wedding a la Kim Kardashian (who, unlike boyfriend and Baby Daddy Kanye West, was not at the wedding in Italy).
We just can’t with this picture. The antique estate setting. The ridiculously gorgeous Vera Wang (thank the lord her dresses are better than the bridal bikini line she designed).
The Sports Illustrated model confirmed via Instagram and Twitter that the two had indeed tied the knot by sharing this photo of herself in one of her fantastic dresses. We’re assuming this is the “ivory strapless open back, V-neck ballgown with lifted tulle skirt and tiered flange, hand-cut petal embroidered detail,” mentioned in Vera’s (yeah, first name basis) press release.
This, then, must be the “ivory strapless mermaid gown with micro pleated bodice and sheared organza full skirt” that Chrissy captioned “My Cherie Amour”, also a little ditty by one Stevie Wonder, who performed at the wedding.
The gorgeous model’s handsome hubs also took the stage to dedicate his son “All I Am” to his bride. But it was Beyonce’s Love on Top that made her “dance cry,” per her Twitter feed. A girl after our own hearts.
