Dedication to Jaeger-LeCoultre Jubilee Collection
Precision timepieces have been capturing the creativity and innovation of watchmakers for over 180 years. Watchmaking art demands unique imagination and great technical skill, as Antoine LeCoultre made expansive strides to instill his creations with such prestigious movement encased in beauty that he pushed watchmaking to new boundaries. Antoine LeCoultre became so successful, he opened up his first Jaeger-LeCoultre watch workshop in Switzerland in 1883.
Today, 180 years later, Grand Maison still captures the creativity and excellence that the Swiss clock maker Antoine LeCoultre placed into every timepiece he made. It only seems right to dedicate this year’s Jubilee Collection to the founder in a “Tribute to Antoine LeCoultre” presentation at the International Salon of Haute Horlogerie. The anniversary collection not only reveals the creativity that Antoine LeCoultre wanted in all of his timepieces, it also speaks of the wide-open horizons toward excellence that the manufacturer continues to aim for when it comes to creating a beautiful Jaeger-LeCoultre luxury watch.
This anniversary collection comprises of a trilogy of different luxury timepieces, including watches from the Master Grande line. Timepieces on display capture the heart, soul and creativity of Antoine LeCoultre. They show the uncharted depths that watchmaking can take to become coveted worldwide. Three watches presented at the show speak of this excellence in luxury jewelry:
The Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon 3 Jubilee has a spherical-shaped balance spring, a flying tourbillon surrounded by polished aluminum and a blued gold balance. Such refinement has made this watch into a 21st century sensation.
Master Grande Tradition Cylindrique a Quantimeme Perpetuel Jubilee has the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 985 automatic winding mechanical movement with a cylindrical balance-spring on the tourbillon. An extra-white platinum case and silver-toned grain dial finish keep the historical appearance while combining the latest technologies.
Master Ultra Thin Jubilee has an aesthetic beauty unparalleled in the watchmaking world. An ultra-thin case in extra-white platinum, the grained silver-toned finish along the dial and the mechanical winding adopts the 1907 style of precision movement.
