When a person thinks of fossils our mind interprets prehistoric screen shots of history that can be located in a museum. This is not entirely true. The Gallery of Amazing things located in Dania Beach, South Florida tours one of their most intriguing exhibits: Eostone. Eostone is an exhibit that is made from Eoscene stone. This company turns fossil’s into fossil furniture and art pieces and the exhibit usually tours with antique and art shows. What makes this exhibit so interesting? Its that all of their fossils can be made custom for whatever home improvement project you are working on. Eostone makes an assortment of fossil back splashes, to counter tops, tables, etc. Anything you want in your home can be turned into something with a fossil!

These fossils are from a private quarry in Wyoming where they extract the 50 million year old limestone fossils. This is one of the most unique forms of natural art because of the mindset people have the fossils are a rare prehistoric feature located anywhere but as artwork in someones home. The types of fossils that Eostone displays are crocodiles, turtles, trees and an assortment of freshwater fish. The Eostone antique company has been around for 15 years and was founded by Arron Rimpley and Gregg Whittcar, when they first found out about how predominate fossils were in our society they decided to do some research. This later led to the extraction of natural fossils which are now implanted into our once basic table and tiles!
