The Custom Design Process

Custom Pendant for NH Firefighter

For this article, we are looking at a custom piece we recently made. When a member of the New Hampshire fire department contacted us to create a unique custom piece, we were happy to oblige. When a client has something specific in mind, they aren’t always going to be able to find it in our display cases. That is especially the case with something personalized like the custom pendant we feature here. This was a perfect candidate for a custom piece. We worked closely with our clients to figure out exactly what they wanted. Using our cutting-edge computer technology, we were able to mock up a piece before we ever worked on a piece of gold.

The client wants yellow gold and something masculine, yet elegant. With this idea in mind, we were able to create a mockup of the piece. After consultation with the client, we then began work on the piece. The result is a beautiful yellow gold pendant that is representative of his particular firehouse. We were incredibly happy with this end result, as was our client. The process allows us to create a meaningful piece of jewelry that is exactly what the client had in mind.
