Watches for Women: Rock the Look
Let’s hear it for the ladies! Remember a few years ago when watches seemed to make a huge comeback? Female celebs like Jennifer Aniston started rocking oversized men’s Rolexes. The next thing you knew, wrist hardware was everywhere! Watches for women made a sudden and major comeback.
With Michael Kors ubiquitous chunky chronograph making the look easy to attain, women’s interest in watches seemed majorly renewed. This was great news for those worrying that the relatively new iPhone would “kill” the watch.
Anyway, these oversized chronographs marked a departure from traditional “ladies” watches for women. Smaller, daintier, occasionally designed to look more like jewelry, luxury watches just for the fairer sex used to be the only fashionable option. Not anymore! Now women can choose from a smorgasbord of watch styles, whether she wants to rock a Daytona or a traditional Ladies Day-Date. She can choose the ladies’ Tank varietal, or simply opt for the original Cartier Tank. More options are always a good thing.
And nothing complements a stunning watch like a glittering diamond! So we’ve put together a few of our favorite looks, using the fabulous pre-owned luxury watches from RLJ plus some of the designer jewels from DBRL!
First up, how great is this mixed metal combo? We paired a yellow gold Rolex 80318 Masterpiece with a white dial & factory diamond bezel with a delicate 18kt yellow gold diamond bangle. To round out the look we added a stunning mosaic diamond ring!
For something distinctive, we paired this Rolex Oyster Perpetual 114200 with a smooth olive green dial with an equally eye-catching elongated pear shape!
This Rolex ladies’ Presidential dazzles with al all diamond dial and bezel. It requires some bling that holds its own, so this Tacori Gold halo is the perfect fit.
Come on get Happy! This combo makes us downright giddy. We paired a Chopard Happy Sport in stainless steel and white gold with a stunning round halo by Henri Daussi, featuring a .74 carat G color, SI1 clarity round brilliant diamond.
More Chopard, but this time a very different look. This incredible Chopard Imperiale features oodles of colorless, VS clarity diamonds and impeccable emeralds. We paired it with a generous pear shape diamond.
You can never go wrong with Chanel! The Chanel J12 watch is one of our favorites and one of our best sellers. We paired this black H1708 with diamond bezel with one of our favorite antique engagement rings, this 1.43ct Old European Cut set in platinum. To round things out, we added a chic white gold and diamond bar bangle bracelet that’s perfect for everyday wear.
See? It goes well with any watch or ring in your collection! Here the same bangle stars alongside a pretty in pink Franck Muller diamond bezel Curvex. The ring is a fabulous rose gold cocktail ring that sold quickly, but we’ll never forget it.
Finally, we’ll send you off with one more Chopard for the road. This time, it’s a ridiculously pretty Chopard Happy Sport in rose gold with a Mother of Pearl dial and diamond bezel. The ring is a show-stopping setting in two tone rose and white gold by none other than Simon G.
