Designer Engagement Rings Under $5000
Welcome back to our budget week series! Everyone shops on a budget, even if that budget is “unlimited.” This week we want to highlight some of our favorites in our most popular categories, so you can see just how far your dollar goes with Raymond Lee Jewelers and Diamonds by Raymond Lee.
Today, let’s chat designer engagement rings. They’re fabulous, they’re well-made, and each of our prestige lines has that special something that sets them apart. If your total budget is $5000 for an engagement ring, it’s important to remember that most of our designer engagement rings include the setting only. They’re pictured with placeholder cubic zirconia on our social media accounts (unless we specify otherwise) and on each listing it will explicitly say “this ring does not include the center diamond.” They do include the center CZ, and some of our couples choose to keep that stone in the setting until they can upgrade to a diamond (or just keep the beautiful CZ in there and replace with a new one as necessary!)
So, if your budget is $5000 and you’re shopping designer, just remember that you need to leave plenty of room for a center diamond, if you plan to go that route. Some of our designers are more conducive to this budget (Gabriel rings are stunning and the majority are under $2000.) Today, we’re showing off some of our favorites that come in well under $5000 without and with the diamond(s) included.
This Simon G. mosaic halo uses a visual trick with multiple baguette and round diamonds to create the look of one large center stone, but with more texture and at a fraction of the price. It’s a hair over $5000 (by $60) but we’re including it anyway because it’s one of our favorites. It’s surrounded by a soft cushion halo of pink diamonds with extra diamonds on the split shank side. It comes in white and yellow 18 karat gold (as well as rose gold by special order) and features .73ctw of diamonds.
Another beauty that uses multiple diamonds to great effect (and includes the center stone) is this beautiful A. Jaffe double halo. The half carat of round brilliants are arranged in a beautiful double halo and bold split shank, set in 14 karat white gold. This entire ring is only $1465!
Another Simon G ring that uses mosaic style to its advantage. This one features Approximately .28ctw of round brilliant diamonds, .29ctw baguette diamonds, .15ctw pear shape diamonds, and .06ctw of marquise cut diamonds. It’s $4,400 in white gold, but comes in yellow and platinum, plus rose gold (special order.)
Verragio, as one of our prestige brands, typically takes up most of a $5,000 budget. The Classic line is an exception – these are beautiful, Verragio rings with Verragio quality and attention to detail, at a much lower price point. This stunning solitaire features .25ctw of accent diamonds in 14 karat white gold, and is only $1,750 – leaving you over $3000 to get a FABULOUS high quality diamond to perch on top.
This Verragio ring – also from the Classic collection – uses its .25 ct. accent diamonds in a different way. It creates a halo around the center stone to make your diamond of choice (which you have $3,250 to purchase) look enormous. And its clean, simple white gold band is an alternative to this style’s lace shank twin (also beautiful, and also a great option – though a bit more – for a $5000 budget!)
