Twin Tuesday: Aquamarine Rings

We adore big aquamarine rings – the bigger the better. The airy, sky blue hue of aquamarines allow you to go big or go home. While they still give you fantastic, sparkling presence on your hand, they won’t overwhelm your outfit or “wear you”. So when we spotted this fabulous aquamarine ring in Betteridge’s 1st Dibs shop, we were instantly smitten.

The emerald cut aquamarine shows off its beautiful clarity, while brilliant diamonds flank the sides and stud the split shank platinum band. We Love the chunky platinum prongs that emphasize a cut cornered look for even more geometric goodness. This stunning ring is available for $9,000, but we have a similar look that’s just as breathtaking for less.

This massive gem is also a step cut, all the better to show off crystal clear, pool blue depths. However it’s set in 14kt yellow gold, saving a savvy shopper a bit on the mounting. However it doesn’t skimp on the diamonds, adding half a carat of little rounds to the shoulders of the mounting:
