The Boca Concours celebrates its 14th anniversary this year. The spectacular 3-day classic car event starts on Friday night, February 7th, and runs through the weekend until the main event concludes on Sunday, February 9th.
For those who don’t know, the Boca Concours is the fastest growing Concours d’Elegance in the country and the world’s largest for a charity-organized event. Since its inception, the Boca Concours has raised over $10M for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County.
Boca Concours 3-day Event

All of the proceeds for the Boca Concours will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. We expect we will break records again this year!
NEW! First-ever Mecum Gallery Exposition at the Boca Concours
There is a completely new addition to the Boca Concours this year! Rick Case and Dana Mecum have partnered up to form a Mecum Gallery Exposition featuring collector cars and automotive fine arts worth over $40 million! This is incredibly exciting. South Florida has never seen a classic car exposition of this caliber before.
The Mecum Gallery Exposition will be located at Boca Resort during the Boca Concours…
In the Mecum exposition room at the Boca Resort, there will be 12 classic cars with a total worth of around 40 to 50 million dollars. One of those cars alone is worth $20M. There will also be an exquisite display of stunning automotive artwork from the world-renowned Automotive Fine Arts Society, and the artists will be there too!
This is entirely unique to the Boca Concours d’Elegance and a must-see for South Floridian car enthusiasts.
Note: This is not an auction, but all of the individual cars are for sale. So they can be purchased by interested prospects. Rick and Rita’s goal for next year is to create a never before seen high-end Mecum Auction at the Boca Concours d’Elegance, along with a Mecum Gallery Exposition similar to what we will witness this year.
About Mecum Auctions & Gallery
The Mecum Auction Company was founded over 30 years ago. They are a world leader of collector cars, vintage and antique motorcycles, and Road Art sales. We are talking NUMBER 1.
Mecum hosts auctions all over the United States, currently offering more than 20,000 lots per year and averaging more than one auction per month.

Mecum Gallery Exposition
The Mecum Gallery Exposition is Mecum’s newest sales platform. It comprises very deliberate assemblies of investment-class automobiles, all of which are available for direct purchase.
Vehicles that are part of the Mecum Gallery will not be put on the auction block.
This new way of selling accommodates for private transactions. It is a more intimate, relaxing and pressure-free way for upmarket auto dealings.
The Mecum Gallery Exposition held in cooperation with the 2020 Boca Concours will include an extraordinary collection of remarkable, multimillion-dollar classic automobiles. Each of the vehicles will be on display, ready for inspection by potential buyers.
For those who are interested in purchasing one of the Mecum Gallery cars, arrangements will be made with an on-site representative.

Mecum Gallery Cars: What you can expect to see at the 2020 Boca Concours
The cars to be displayed at the Boca Concours Mecum Gallery Exhibition are not yet confirmed, but these Mecum Gallery cars will give you an idea of what to expect.
1937 Mecedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster
This is one of the most special and beautiful examples of an open 540K Mercedes. It is a Mayfair bodied 540K that displays the mastery of the English coachbuilding firm.
The car was originally shipped from the factory to Paris on October 7th, 1936. It has a chassis and engine #154080.
In 1995, it was sold to Ralph Englestad, the founder of the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Then, later sold to General William Lyon in 2002. This 540K has been exhibited at the Pebble Beach Concours in 2011 to celebrate the 125-year anniversary of Mercedes-Benz. Now, it will be on display at the 14th Annual Boca Concours!
1947 Delahaye 135MS Figoni ET Falaschi Narval Cabriolet
This 1947 Delahaye 135MS is an extremely rare find. It is only one of seven Delahaye 135 Narvals ever built.
The sensationally iconic and flamboyant coachwork done by the Paris firm of Giuseppe Figoni et Ovidio Falaschi makes this car stand-out in incredible fashion.
Under the bonnet, you will find a 3.6L inline 6-cylinder engine, Triple Solex Carburetors, and a 4-speed Cotal Preselector transmission.
It was originally owned by the famed French singer-songwriter Charles Trenet, but it has been part of the Jim Petrozzini Collection for the past 5 decades. And now…it is ready for the Boca Concours Mecum Gallery!
1951 Talbot-Lago T-26 Grand Sport Saoutchik Coupe
Former 1st in Class Winner at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, this 1951 Talbot-Lago T-26 is a special coupe in a class by itself.
The car was designed by coachbuilder Jacques Saoutchik in the early 1950s and has gained worldly acclaim for being “an automotive work of art”.
The story of this Talbot is fascinating and you can learn all about it at the Boca Concours d’Elegance next month in February, pending it doesn’t get bought before it makes it into the Mecum Gallery Exposition.
1965 Ford GT Competition Prototype Roadster
Only 5 Roadster were built by Ford Advanced Vehicles in England, and only 2 survive to this day. This 1965 Ford GT is one of them.
This is the only Roadster to ever take part in the Le Mans. It entered the Le Mans the same year it was built and was driven by Maurice Trintignant and Guy Ligier.
From there, the car has a rich history, being used as a development vehicle for the J-Car, making an appearance in a 1983 video by Armour Production, and taking 2nd in Class at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours.
It has seen 3 owners – Ford/Shelby, Dean Jeffries (1968-2013), and now, Dana Mecum.
Will it be at the Boca Concours Mecum Gallery? Let’s wait and find out…
1964 Shelby 289 Cobra Roadster
You are looking at the only factory Stage III 289 Street Cobra ever built.
Back in 1964, the highly optioned 289 Cobra was a then-staggering MSRP of $8,686. Now, the meticulously restored vehicle is worth millions of dollars.
The scrupulous restoration, done by Steven Juliano and Dave Riley, took four long years. They only used NOS and original parts, which include tires and service items. It was only recently finished and is now being sold through the Mecum Gallery.
Automotive Fine Arts Society
Along with the 12 vehicles, which themselves are masterful works of art, there will also be a display of amazing automobile art from the American Fine Arts Society (AFAS).
Some of the artists that make up the AFAS will be there exhibiting their artwork.
All of the artwork will be available for purchase.
Artists include: Ken Eberts, Tony Sicorski, Richard Pietruska, Dan McCrary, Dennis Brown, David Chapple, Larry Braun, Steve Macy and more.
The American Fine Arts Society was established in 1982. The society was founded by artists who were recognized as leading experts in the automobile art field.
Today, members of the AFAS are known for working with oil paints, watercolors, acrylics, pen and ink to create their high-quality automobile depictions. They participate in various art exhibitions and shows around the USA. Such as the Pebble Beach Boca Concours, where the AFAS has set up exhibitions each year for over 3 decades.
Ken Eberts
Ken Eberts is a founding member and the current President of AFAS. He will be the official artist of the 14th annual Boca Concours d’Elegance.
Ken Eberts is well-acknowledged for his unique artwork, which portrays an extensive history of cars. In fact, he has covered more auto history through his artwork than any other artist, having illustrated every decade all the way back to 1897.
His artwork is so influential that he was chosen by Ford Motor Co. to commemorate their centennial in 2003, a distinction last bestowed upon Norman Rockwell for Ford’s 50th anniversary. He has also won awards from Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum, and many others.
