It’s truly hard to take your eyes off this diamond Rolex Datejust. And even more so at face level, because the dial is equally as striking and dazzlingly.
This version of the Datejust 116334 features a black dial with Roman numeral indices. However, on this particular piece, you aren’t dealing with typical Roman numerals. These are diamond Roman numerals – also an aftermarket touch.
The juxtaposition of the diamond Roman numerals, the diamond bezel, and the black dial makes this watch unreservedly eye-catching.

Another new timepiece at Diamonds By Raymond Lee in Boca Raton is this diamond flooded Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.
We recently featured this iced out AP in its own blog post, but let’s quickly talk about it here since we took some beauteous pics with it last week.
Behind the countless diamonds is a Royal Oak 41mm, ref. 15500ST.OO.1220ST.03. This Royal Oak 41mm is masterfully contrived from Audemar Piguet’s very own stainless steel alloy. Needless to say, the classic AP octagonal shape case measures in at 41mm, which makes this Royal Oak larger than its previous counterparts. The upgrade in size was to account for the modern desire for oversized sports watches.
That said, it is a respectable size that will never appear too big, even on a woman’s wrist, as you can see in the featured photos.
Now, the dial was left untouched from aftermarket hands. It calls attention to a black tapisserie dial and gorgeous white gold hands that POP thanks to the dark backdrop. Even with all the diamonds on this watch, the dial staggers us. As a matter of fact, the diamonds amplify the grandeur of the dial thanks to the beauty of contrast.
Diamond Flooded
This may come as a surprise, but these diamonds are CVD. Every single one of them.
For those who don’t know, CVD diamonds are lab grown.

This is the Datejust II reference 116300. It’s a wonderfully distinct, and not just because it’s dripping in diamonds. The red dial, with its diamond Roman numerals, is arresting. It will grab your attention, and it won’t let it go.
We love the color red, as it represents passion, desire, and love, with deep emotional intensity. It’s a strong color that you don’t often see in luxury watches. And although Rolex does have other models that employ the color, it’s definitely not every day that you will actually see someone wearing a red Rolex in person. So, with this watch, you will be originally…you.
Diamond Covered
As with the first Datejust II featured in this article, this Datejust II highlights aftermarket diamonds. However, with this one, it is completely covered in them.
The 41mm stainless steel Oyster case is set with a legion of small round brilliant diamonds, as is the Oyster bracelet and clasp. And while it may be “extra” for some, those who love diamond Rolex watches will treasure the upmarket look.
In any case, it’s impossible to not appreciate the incredible workmanship and artistry here. It needs to be acknowledged that this was done all by hand by a master jeweler, and this extends to the diamond bezel.
Contrast in sizes
