Hublot Heads to Dallas
Hublot, long known as the watch of 90% of all NBA teams and/or athletes* is the newest fan of yet another franchise: The Dallas Cowboys. The Swiss luxury watch brand, one of our favorites, announced the partnership with three limited edition Dallas Cowboys watches, all featuring the Cowboys’ famed cheerleaders colors. First off, a 45 mm Classic Fusion in titanium, that will be the entry point for the market at $18,300.For women, Hublot designed a 42mm ladies’ Classic Fusion in titanium and ceramic, that will sell for $20,000. Finally, those die-hard Cowboy fans with cash to spare can snag a 48mm King Power in ceramic for $25,200.
Each of the large watches features the Cowboy star at 5 o’clock in honor of the Cowboys’ 5 Super Bowl wins. The ladies version adds Texas bling with a star studded with diamonds.
The watches will be sold exclusively at Hublot’s Dallas boutique and in a pop-up shop in the Cowboys’ Owner’s Lounge at AT&T Stadium.
The LVMH owned Swiss watch powerhouse is known for its athletic partnerships, most notably those with the Lakers and Kobe Bryant individually. They’re also involved with the Miami Heat and LeBron, which caused for an interesting, but minor, conflict of interest. LeBron, an ambassador for Audemars Piguet, shared headlines with former AP ambassador turned Hublot face guy Dwyane Wade. Hublot ended up gifting the entire team and coaching staff with “White Hot” Big Bangs after their 2012 championship win, cementing the relationship. And now, of course, there’s a Dwyane Wade King Power. LeBron has his own limited edition Royal Oak Offshore, to his credit. No word on whether the Celtics will be enjoying any luxury watch partnerships.
But enough about basketball. It is FINALLY football season again, and Dallas is sure to shine with a new luxury partnership.
