Everything You Need to Know About The Kimye Wedding
…So far. It’s true that we’ll likely need to wait until E! News shared the exclusive details on tonight’s broadcast for a lllllll the good scoop on The Kimye Wedding. However, because the Kardashians were involved, plenty of details have already leaked. Or been posted directly to Instagram. So, lucky for us, we’re able to answer quite a few of our own burning questions from Friday, along with some details we didn’t even know we wanted to find out.
Need to Know
Kim’s wedding jewelry was much more pared down this time around. However, the family still wore millions in Lorraine Schwartz jewels. We’re loving the three stone ruby ring that Khloe wore, along with those fabulous diamond hoops (also worn by Khloe.) The Riviere necklaces look like one’s round brilliant & the other features old mine cuts, and we love the vintage feel of the large rose cut diamond necklace. Check out that crystal east-west ring – reminiscent of Beyonce’s Grammy jewels, non? And another east west ring int he upper right hand corner, though that one looks like an oval cut diamond. No doubt the smiley face bracelet was a playful addition to Khloe’s Cartier Love bangles and we’re currently stalking pictures to see which pieces Kendall wore. Kris wore the ridiculous studs, Kim wore the more reasonable studs, and Kourtney probably passed on a ll of these because they weren’t organic enough. The jewelry standout winner of the weekend is clearly Khloe, who also managed to rock that diamond pave V ring.
Beyonce was not there. We repeat: Beyonce was not there. We speculated as much, because really, this wasn’t an A-list event (besides Kanye). But maybe the Carters were being charitable – trying not to stele the limelight from the Kouple?
Kanye somehow managed to dress very traditionally. But he brought the leather to the reception, in true form to his T-Birds membership.
Kim did not, thanks to see through lace panels and cutouts on her Givenchy gown (though she still wore white). She also changed into an as-yet unseen Balmain dress for the reception, which is rumored to be pretty similar to her bachelorette dress.
The bridesmaids wore white (obviously). No word on the designer, but here is Khloe doing her best Pippa Middleton.
Didn’t Know
That Kanye’s Mother’s Day wall of flowers was only a prelude to their ceremony decor.
How ostracized poor Rob would feel. Nor that he wouldn’t even make it to the nuptials after being criticized for his weight (allegedly).
Kris actually bested both halves of Kimye in the cleavage department.
The menu would be surprisingly pared down. Four courses? Come on Kimye, we were expecting something more lavish.
