Aisle Style: A Pop of Color

There’s no chicer color choice for bridesmaids than black. It’s forgiving of any body flaw your already gorgeous girls might have (or imagine). It’s timeless, so you won’t look back in a decade thinking “Whyyyyy?” And – your bridesmaids’ favorite – who can’t use another black dress? Whether it’s long or short, this is a dress your gals will wear again to other weddings, formal events, on vacation, or special occasions. Especially if you choose a fun, feminine short black bridesmaids dress! We’re obsessed with this Taylor dresses, number. With tone on tone stripes, it plays with both pattern and texture, one of the hottest bridesmaids looks this year. And in fit and flare organza, this dress is flattering, timeless, and perfectly prim. Oh, did we mention it’s on sale for $82.80? That gives your girls plenty of room to splurge on some statement shoes. Sam Edelman’s heels are some of the most comfortable we’ve ever worn, and stand up to Choo, Weitzman and Valentino when it comes to quality design. Of course, they’re a lot less expensive. This beautiful pair of “Ellie” heels are $150, and we love the strappy, sexy contrast they have to the prim silhouette of the dress. Not to mention, the cage effect keeps your feet sturdy, making them surprisingly long-wear-ready for such a vampy shoe. Let your girls wear their own treasured jewelry in white gold or silver. We like something like our 14kt white gold and diamond circle pendant on a simple, elegant chain. And, for all their bridesmaids’ accoutrements, this Natasha Couture metal fan clutch is both on-trend with the Art Deco style we love and is only $58. Win win. And of course, no bridesmaid look is complete without the bouquet. And is there anything better than a punchy POP of color against an elegant black dress? We think not – and this gorgeous bouquet by JL designs is juuust right. She won’t even want to catch yours 😉
