Engagement Ring Eye Candy: Emerald Cut Engagement Rings
Who doesn’t love an emerald cut engagement ring? They’re pristine, elegant, and always classic with those bold step cuts and perfectly crisp corners. Emerald cuts also typically necessitate superior cut and quality grades, so they’re some of the most appealing diamonds on the market. And some of the world’s most famous and expensive diamonds are emerald cuts, because there’s no better way to show off a D, Flawless than with crystal clear step cuts! Our emerald cut diamonds are magnificent on their own, but when you mix them with accent diamonds and bright white mountings, something magical happens.
This beautiful emerald cut is set in a soft, rounded halo mounting made of platinum and approximately .85ctw of diamonds. The center stone is a GIA certified J color and VS1 clarity.
Another beauty in a more traditional setting. This style – emerald cut center stone with tapered baguette side stones – is one of the most classic ways to set this diamond shape, as you’ll see with our other eye candy. The setting makes this 3.02ct emerald cut look even larger by balancing out its vertical lines.
As you can see, the setting works equally well with more squarely proportioned emerald cuts. This one skews square, but still looks fabulous thanks to smaller tapered baguettes that enhance its size and proportion. The beautiful center stone is a perfect 4 carats.
This updated take on the tapered baguette emerald cut engagement ring setting uses modern pave style to create a mini halo effect on the accent stones. It’s also a fresh twist, combining the round brilliants with the clean lines of all the step cuts. The center stone is a 3.01ct D color and SI1 clarity grade, and looks beautifully bright in its platinum mounting.
This is another gorgeous example of a modern take on the emerald cut. The halo might be on trend, but this setting itself wouldn’t have looked out of place 100 years ago. An 18kt white cold picture frame of round brilliants surrounds this 1.10ct emerald cut for a gorgeous look.
Finally, we just had to show off another one of our favorites. This is another classic emerald cut diamond setting, flanked by two lovely, evenly matched trapezoid cuts. This center stone is a 3.03 carat H, VS1, and the side stones are 1.20ctw. It’s even better in person!
