AP Royal Oak Offshore 26400 Ceramic Watch and Diamond Rings Combo
Presenting an Audemars Piguet 26400 Royal Oak Offshore 44mm Stainless Steel Ceramic Bezel Watch Review AND a striking AP watch and diamond ring combo. It’s time to be inspired!
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore is a legend in the watch game. From purists to contemporary lovers, the Royal Oak Offshore can do no wrong. The ROO line from AP, one of the greats in haute horology, has been innovating and consistently putting out highly coveted references since their first release back in 1993.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26400 Ceramic Watch
This fresh 44mm Royal Oak Offshore, reference 26400, with its in-house movement, ceramic bezel, and exhibition case back, illustrates the newest and finest evolution of AP’s iconic collection.
So, before we talk about how this new AP Royal Oak Offshore 44mm was matched up with diamond rings, let’s run through the finer details of this watch and do a little review. It wouldn’t be right to not go in-depth on a timepiece of this caliber.
The stainless steel Royal Oak Offshore 26400 was released in 2011, and there is not a single thing wrong with it. In fact, everything is right with it.
From the tapisserie panda dial to the black ceramic bezel and pushers to the rubber diver strap, this watch is simply remarkable.
Audemars Piguet truly hit it out of the park with this one.
The Stainless Steel Case
The case measures 44mm in diameter but it fits more like a 47mm – and that doesn’t stop our lovely model, who’s a woman, from wearing it…and it looks stunning on her, there’s no denying it.
Now, it might be “too big” for some people’s preference, but anyone who loves Royal Oak Offshore clearly appreciates oversized watches, so size is only a plus. Our Royal Oak Offshore fanatics are going to fall head over heels for this one (sorry guys, we mean head over kicks – this is undoubtedly a man’s watch…it’s just that, women are pulling it off flawlessly).
The AP ROO 26400’s case has all the class design aspects that you come to know and love from Royal Oak Offshore. We are talking about the perfect brushed and polished finishing (all the way down to the hexagonal bolts in the bezel), the large stature, and the octagonal bezel, which is now ceramic!
Ceramic Bezel and Pushers
The quality of the case is impeccable…and so is the ceramic bezel and pushers.
Previously only available on limited edition Royal Oak Offshores, the new 44mm Royal Oak Offshore watches all feature the ceramic bezel and pushers.
Not only are the ceramic bezel and pushers a clean and sharp look, they are also virtually indestructible. Only a diamond-tipped tool and a nuclear explosion could penetrate the ceramic on this watch.
So, say goodbye to the worry of scratching your bezel. Problem eliminated. Completely.
What’s more, just like the case, the ceramic is polished beautifully. It immediately lets you know you are looking at something of very high quality.
The Silver Toned Méga Tapisserie Dial
Looking through the impenetrable sapphire crystal, we can see a silvered Mega Tapisserie dial that is unequivocally Royal Oak Offshore.
Now, some people might wish the dial came with the classic Arabic numerals (like most 42mm ROOs have), but we think the applied white gold indices that this watch has are more sophisticated, charming, and overall, just more clean and fresh. Moreover, this allowed AP to match the hands with the indices perfectly.
Everything is so in-sync on this watch’s dial. The elevated tachymeter scale along the perimeter, the subdials, the fonts, and even the red accents are a flawless touch.
Overall, the panda Mega Tapisserie dial is eye-catching and visually stunning. It’s the epitome of a sports watch dial.
Matte Black Rubber Strap
This Royal Oak Offshore utilizes the latest and greatest Offshore strap.
It’s called the “Offshore Diver Strap”. It features natural rubber, which is extremely supple on the wrist.
The design of the strap integrates gorgeously with the case AND thanks to a convenient pin buckle, it’s easy to adjust. So you can balance this oversized watch on your wrist impeccably. It really helps to make this watch one of the most comfortable ROOs we’ve ever worn.
The Movement
Inside the robust stainless steel case, and seen through the display case back, we have an in-house caliber 3126/3840.
The movement is a work of art that was ornately finished to beautify the incredible engineering within.
It’s a beast of a machine. It has a 55 hour power reserve, 59 jewels, maintenance-free ceramic rotor bearings, a shock-resistant balance bridge and regulator.
The movement beats at 3 Hz (21,600 vph) and is comprised of 365 parts.
All in all, it’s the calibre of the past and future, as AP skillfully combined perpetual watchmaking tradition with horologically brilliant technological innovation.
With this coalescence of classic mastermind watch crafting and revolutionary coolness and modernization, the new 44mm Offshore is right there side by side with the Royal Oak, together as watch legends.
Women Wearing Men’s AP Royal Oak Offshore
If you follow our posts on a regular basis, you are probably seeing a theme of women wearing men’s watches.
Why?
Well, why not?!
The women we take photos of want the men’s watches, and we give them what they desire because we know and they know it looks good…no…it looks great!
For all our women readers out there, if your eye catches men’s watches more than women’s watches, it is what it is…for a lack of a better phrase.
Furthermore, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it! In fact, we think it looks amazing AND it’s a massive trend that is literally changing the watch game…
Ladies’ watches are becoming larger, men’s watches are being bought by independent women. And all in all, women are finally stepping up and declaring they appreciate impressive horology just as much as men.
We absolutely love and support this trend, as you can clearly see.
Thankfully, in this day and age, here in the States, women own there independence, freedom, power, and sexiness.
Feminine Masculinity…it’s a thing.
So, with that, let’s discuss how we took this gorgeous masculine watch and made it part of the perfect ensemble for a strong yet feminine woman.
AP Royal Oak Offshore and Diamond Rings Combo For Women
What’s better than an absolutely stunning new Royal Oak Offshore? A new Royal Oak Offshore 44mm Stainless Steel Ceramic watch with diamond rings.
For this watch and diamond ring match up, we choose white gold diamond rings as it matches and styles beautifully with the stainless steel black ceramic bezel ROO.
First, let’s point out just how well this massive watch fits her. She by no means has big wrists, yet the oversized look is perfection.
For diamond rings to look right with this watch, they need to be equally as impressive in both appearance and size.
3 Finger Diamond Ring Stack
We choose to go the 3 finger diamond ring route to really get a “full of diamonds” feel to this ensemble.
A good diamond ring styling tip for “How many rings should you wear at once?” is to do one ring on three fingers for both hands.
This is a safe maximum, as to not look too “extra” or like a caricature.
That said, we like to play things up a bit, we are Diamonds by Raymond Lee after all. So, on her right hand’s middle finger, we did a diamond wedding band stack of 5 smaller rings. Not only does it turn the knob on this multi-finger ring stack up to 10, but it also really equals out the look as the other diamond rings are big. Moreover, it looks great because it creates some much-needed contrast between the one-ring-on-each-finger set up. One smaller band there just wouldn’t look as good.
All in all, this AP watch and diamond ring combo is the perfect amalgamation of extravagant and elegant.

With so many options, don’t let it overwhelm you. Trust your gut and choose what you love!
In any case, this is the kind of “overwhelm” that we love. We don’t know about you, but we could look through different stunning diamond rings all day, every day.
Should I match my watch with my rings?
This is a common question we get asked.
The answer is simple to us…
…it doesn’t really matter!
Although matching your ring(s) to your watch is cool, it is completely unnecessary.
We’ve been in this game for a long time and we can tell you that nobody worries about this.
If you can match it up in terms of colors (of metals and other accent details), that’s great, but don’t stress it.
Furthermore, not only should you not stress it, you need to realize that mixing metals is a huge trend. It’s hot. Point, blank.
All that said, we like to find a happy medium when it comes to our watch and ring combinations, and watch and jewelry combinations in general. We aim to make them look good together, but we don’t always try to make them a perfect match. We have enough watches and jewelry to do so, but we prefer contrasts, sometimes subtle, sometimes stark.
The point is, if it looks good to you, then do it! Watch and ring combos are all about showing your creativity and being yourself.
