Engagement Ring Eye Candy: Vintage Engagement Rings & Vintage Inspired
Today’s afternoon craving for engagement ring eye candy has us indulging in one of our favorites – vintage engagement rings! While this week’s goodies only include one truly vintage ring (a beautiful platinum & 1.5 carat diamond stunner), the vintage feel continues with our vintage style settings. Vintage inspired engagement ring settings have taken off in popularity, and this gorgeous, desirable look has brides demanding a classic look without the wait or the hunt for an actual vintage engagement ring (although plenty of jewelers who specialize in estate jewelry have large selections of vintage & antique rings – you just have to look for us!) These are our favorites for the week:
This unique engagement ring takes our breath away! Three main ovals are surrounded by bands and bars of round and elongated oval stones – it’s a completely different look that weighs in at approximately 6.37 carats total.
Recognize our Diamond of the Day from last week? We’re still obsessed with it. Meticulously set graduated emeralds line the sides of a beautiful 1.12ct round brilliant. Another .34ctw of rounds frame the entire face of the ring, set in platinum – and a yellow gold bezel around the center stone adds another layer of interest.
The popular elliptical shape reemerges on this vintage recreation. Round diamonds pave the entire shape, set into platinum, before sharing the spotlight with horizontally set emerald cut diamonds. The white step cuts all lead to the rings’ featured square emerald cut .92ct champagne diamond.
Finally, our vintage engagement ring. A round, .70ct diamond is set with two smaller rounds and the entire platinum setting is studded with more round diamonds, bringing the total diamond weight to 1.25carats.
