This or That: Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra Necklace

Today’s featured piece is one of our favorites – the Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra necklace, also known as the Van Cleef and Arpels clover necklace. The Alhambra collection was first introduced in 1968, the Alhambra collection channels luck, health and fortune to its wearer and has become the jeweler’s most iconic design. When we add Alhambra pieces to the showroom (or Lucky Alhambra), they never stick around long – customers can’t get enough! And we certainly can’t blame them. It seems the only difficult decision when it comes to Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra is what to wear them with. This beautiful mother of pearl and yellow gold necklace could blend in well with a dress in equally creamy tones by Michelle Mason. However it pops against a kelly green number by Rachel Pally. But we’ll leave the decision in your capable hands because it’s your weekend, your choice!
