Teen Choice Awards Mens Fashion: Our 5 Faves
Last night’s Teen Choice Awards brought out all the hottest stars of Young Hollywood. The Twilight Saga was honored with extra special surfboards, fan favorites like Zac Efron made appearances, Carly Rae Jepsen performed the song of the summer, Call me Maybe, and every other teen and tween star you could ask for was present (with the exception of the One Direction guys, who accepted their award via video). The night was fun and so was the fashion. The guys especially brought their fashion a-game, and here are our favorite looks from the pink carpet.
Ian Somerhalder
The Vampire Diaries swept the Teen Choice Awards last night, and Ian Somerhalder looked cool doing it. He paired dark suede skinny pants with a baggy smoky gray t shirt, and kept his hair shaggy for a California-cool look. He paired the simple outfit with a great pair of dark desert boots, which are one of our favorite men’s shoe trends for summer.
Justin Bieber
The Biebs kept it “swaggy” on the pink carpet with summer-ready white denim. He kept the jeans baggy (but thankfully didn’t enter the saggy crotch realm he’s ventured into before) and paired them with a cool camo t. He also worse his trademark sneakers, a great pair of shades, and a very cool long chain.
The Guys of No Doubt
Of course Gwen Stefani’s fashion game is always rockin’, but the boys of No Doubt were back last night with a bang. Looking every inch the rock stars, they proved that No Doubt’s style is as long lasting as their music. We love how the bandmates stuck to a black and neutral color palette to coordinate, but not match. The guys’ perfectly slim blazers were great with pants of varying degrees of skinniness. And the footwear ranges from chukkas to combat boots, all capped off with rock star shades. Welcome back, guys.
Kevin Mchale
Host Kevin McHale of Glee fame had several great looks last night. While each ensemble was unique, it was clear that his wardrobe had a theme: sleek style. Kevin shone in tightly tailored suits (we particularly like this pale gray with the patterned shirt) and skinny ties with formal shoes all night.
Joe Jonas
Joe’s fall-ready hunter green silk tuxedo jacket really caught our eye (although we could do without the clashy pocket square.) He paired it with a vintage looking band tee, black denim, and perfectly tousled bed head. Way to go Jobro.
