The Rolex Datejust has been around for ages. Introduced in the year 1945 to be exact this watch has pretty much stayed the same with very minor changes if anything. Though the Datejust was introduced in 1945 the Datejust Turnograph was introduced in the 1950s and got it’s name the Turnograph when it was given to the US Air Force pilots when they returned from war as an award. The old original Turnograph’s were made of white gold. This hard to find Rolex time piece was discontinued for a bit of time and then Rolex started reproducing them again but in stainless steel. The watch features a rotating bezel to keep track of time increments and so forth. Very straight and simple this 36mm dial watch also features the date and uses Roman Numerals as the hour markers.
