Kate Middleton Olympics Fashion – Gold Medal Worthy
Kate Middleton displayed effortless style, vigor, and youth in all her many appearances at the London Olympics. Kate is not above repeating her outfits, like true style icons. Here are a few of Kate Middleton’s best Olympic looks.
Kate Middleton in Jenny Packham
Back in May during the 2012 British Olympic team celebration at the “Our Greatest Time Rises” gala, the Olympic styles started with this Jenny Packham gown in a romantic teal. The Duchess paired the gorgeous, lace-capped dress with an intricate updo, diamond drop earrings, a perfectly matching teal clutch, and metallic Jimmy Choo heels, making her look every inch the princess.
Kate Middleton in Zara
It wouldn’t be the Kate Middleton Olympics without fashion from Zara. With the frequency with which she wears the label, you could almost forget that Zara is a Spanish label. When done right, casual can appear just as polished and pretty as a fancy frock, which the Duchess proved. In a “Team GB” polo shirt, Stuart Weitzman cork wedges, and fit-to-perfection Zara cobalt jeans, Kate Middleton was dressed simply, showing off her sportier side during the arrival of the Olympic torch.
That wasn’t her only show of support for Team GB. Different versions of the Team GB Olympic Kit designed by Stella McCartney were worn by Kate, including Adidas. The polo shirts were always paired with skinny jeans. But here, while watching the Women’s Laser Radial sailing race, Kate Middleton wore the red, white and blue windbreaker with athletic pants and running sneakers to match.
Kate Middleton at the Equestrian Events
Sporting, again (not afraid to repeat) Stuart Weitzman cork wedges, a white Adidas polo, a navy Smythe blazer, and perfectly tailored skinny jeans, Kate looked laid-back in this pseudo uniform. The Duchess looked lovely as she went to show support for Zara Phillips, the Queen’s granddaughter during an equestrian event.
