Jennifer Aniston Engagement Ring vs. Angelina's Engagement Ring Showdown

It’s always a fun day to peer into the lives of celebrities—especially during their happiest or most embarrassing moments. Brad Pitt’s current and past ladies, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston, respectively, are both sporting new rocks marking the upcoming happiest-days-of-their-lives.

When Brad Pitt initially proposed to Jen back in 1999, he presented her with a magnificent engagement ring that he co-designed with famous jewelry designer Silvia Damiani, according to sources. The jaw-dropping custom ring featured a single, stunning and flawless center stone with swirls of diamonds surrounding. The ring has been valued publicly at around $500k.

In 2005, when Jen filed for a divorce of ‘irreconcilable differences,’ it is speculated that she has kept the ring–which, over the course of the couple’s 5 year marriage, I’d say she earned!

Now that Brad and Angelina have 19 kids and counting (kidding, it’s 6), Brad felt it was time to put a ring on it. Pitt presented his lady, Angelina Jolie with an unbelievably spectacular engagement ring. Brad Pitt co-designed the monstrous engagement ring with famous Beverly Hills jewelry designer Robert Procop during a collaboration over a year in length. It is rumored to contain anywhere from 6-10 carats of custom cut diamonds and the ring is valued at between $500k to $1 million from an array of sources!

These days, Aniston is shacked up with actor, director and screenwriter Justin Theroux (who she’s dating) who proposed to her nearly two months ago now–back in August on a jet-setting jaunt to New York City for his 41st birthday dinner! Aniston is sporting a gorgeous 8 or 9 carat (according to Vanity Fair) ring that is rumored to have a price tag between $500k – $1 million, as well.

According to jeweler Anthony Sarkissian, interviewed by hollywoodlife.com: “The ring looks to be a Cushion Cut or Oval Shape diamond, mounted in a classic Halo design. It may have Micro-Pave diamonds around the center stone as well.”

While it’s believed that Angelina’s ring is worth slightly more money than Aniston’s engagement ring, I must say, I think Aniston’s is much more feminine and elegant.
