Stars Shine in Chopard at Cannes
Chopard Stars in Cannes
The most fabulous film festival in the world, Cannes, brings out the stars in full force. And, as we love to report, with stars come fabulous red carpet jewelry! This year, Chopard partnered with the festival to sponsor Cannes Film Festival, and the stars honored the luxury jewelry brand by wearing some of its most stunning jewels. As the Cannes Film Festival continues, more stars wear more amazing jewels, but these are our favorite looks so far.
Jane Fonda proves that her red carpet style has staying power in a sequined Roberto Cavalli gown that sparkled nearly as much as her fantastic ruby jewels.
Fonda wore a pair of 60ct rubellite and black & white diamond drop earrings, in addition to a 50ct pear shaped rubellite tourmaline ring set in white diamond and ruby pave.
These jewels look fabulous on any woman, but let’s all give Jane a slow clap for being 74(!) and working her gown and rubies.
Fan Bing Bing attended the premiere of the eagerly anticipated Moonrise Kingdom wearing an amazing silk embroidered gown by Christopher Bu.
Fan accessorized the intricate gown with Chopard white gold pendant emerald earrings and a diamond bracelet, also by Chopard.
Honestly, we’re not sure what Lana del Rey is doing at Cannes. She was in attendance at the Met Balltoo, in equally stunning jewels, so we’re running with the assumption that she’ll be a red carpet fixture for the next year at least.
Lana brings the glamour with this massive Chopard pear shaped diamond necklace.
She let the diamonds shine on their own with side swept Old Hollywood curls and a simple but sumptuous Alberta Ferretti black gown.
Eva Herzigova ‘s Chopard baubles were our favorite of the bunch.
This amazing collar set with round brilliants, along with its matching earrings, weighs in at more than 210 carats of briolette, brilliant, and heart shaped diamonds.
The set, designed by Chopard’s creative director and co-president Caroline Scheufele, is a tribute to Marilyn Monroe. The amazing suite will be displayed in the Hotel Martinez in Cannes until the end of the festival, when it will go on a worldwide tour as part of the Diamonds and Glamour: Marilyn Monroe and Chopard exhibit.
The stars never disappoint with their red carpet jewelry, and JCK covered their favorites from the premiere (absolutely worth clicking through, if only for Freida Pinto’s earrings).
