Britney Spears Engagement Ring Goes Back to Jason Trawick
The engagement between Britney Spears and Jason Trawick has been called off. Apparently, Brittany does not want Jason as neither conservator nor husband. She has returned the 3.5 carat $90 thousand dollar diamond ring that Jason proposed with.
According to Jeff Raymond, a representative for Brittany, the agreement to end the one-year engagement was mutual.
“As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends.”
Both Brittany and Jason confirmed the amicable split-up. “I’ll always adore him and we will remain friends,” Brittany stated. Jason has vowed that he will always love and cherish Brittany. He says that he and Brittany’s boys will remain close.
Sources report that the friendly break-up between Brittany and her co-conservator was because they simply “grew apart.” Their relationship started out as a working one rather than as a romantic scenario. Jason began as the pop queen’s agent and they started dating in 2009. Jason presented the huge diamond and proposed marriage on his 40th birthday in December of 2011
Brittany now has a new agent and her Dad, Jamie Spears, is her sole conservator.
As for the ring, It is reported that Jason did not ask for the huge diamond back. Brittany decided that giving it back was the right thing to do.
Let’s hope Brittany’s next big diamond is backed up with a proposal that grew out of romance.
