Ugly Dolls, Beautiful Ring: Proposal Story of the Week
When the word "ugly" is involved in a proposal story, it's typically not a great sign. But this adorable proposal from How He Asked breaks the mold. First of all, this cute couple was on a trip to Monaco - so a romantic proposal could have been done anywhere. Seriously, strolling down the street he could have dropped to one knee, then they could have waltzed into one of Monaco's many jewelry stores to pick out a ring. But this guy thinks ahead.
Using "Ugly Dolls" he took a series of photographs outlining the story of their relationship. Everything about how they met, to the promises he's making for their future, is documented by these cute, weird little dolls as he tells their story while handing her photographs.
Of course, the story ends on a high note - with a puppy proposing with a ring. But not just any ring, a stunning (big) round solitaire on a diamond band. And, in a happy coincidence, the bride-to-be requested that her groom film their vacation for her film editing class. So, yes, the entire proposal is caught on camera. Swoon.
