ESPY Awards 2012 Fashion on the Red Carpet
Every year, Hollywood’s biggest stars join forces with some of America’s most talented athletes for the ESPY Awards. Although the night is intended to honor players in our favorite major league sports, athletes and celebrities alike compete on the red carpet, as well as on the field.
The winners of best dressed for the evening were between a handful of celebrities, actually: Olivia Munn, Hayden Panettiere, Jessica Biel, and Zooey Deschanel.
Worldwide tennis superstar and TAG Heuer ambassador Maria Sharapova glammed up the red carpet in a dusty blue up-to-there slit dress by J. Mendel. Her goddess like appearance truly wowed the crowd.
Lindsey Vonn, US Olympic Skier, was not only nominated for best female athlete, competing against the likes of Baylor Women’s Basketball player Brittney Griner, soccer star Abby Wambach, and tennis star Maria Sharapova, but rocked a gorgeous ensemble featuring a Guess by Marciano dress, Simon G jewels, and an Atelier Swarovski necklace.
Admire the girly ensemble rocked by NASCAR superstar Danica Patrick, the most successful woman in the sport to date. The under-accessorized outfit helps this shapely, delicate-colored dress stand out for votes on potentially being the best dressed at the award show this year.
