According to National Jeweler, the King’s Omega Constellation reigned supreme at Antiquorum last week, garnering $52,500 and setting a new world record for that reference at auction. The sale price was nearly three times its high pre-sale estimate of $20,000.
Elvis Presley gave the self-winding, center-seconds, water-resistant, stainless steel and pink gold-capped chronometer wristwatch to Charlie Hodge, a friend of his whom he met while serving in the U.S. Army, after Hodge remarked how much he liked it.
