BREAKING: Blake Lively Ring Spotted!

We interrupt this Masculine Monday (sorry guys) for an extremely important update. Sneaky superstars Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married secretly last week, and each day we’ve dutifully checked the tabloids for ring sightings – nothing. And while we’ve yet to see snapshots of the exclusive custom Marchesa gowns (for the bride and her bridesmaids) or any of the small but star-packed reception, today brought the world premier of THE RING. This one couldn’t wait ’til Wedding Wednesday, folks.

Did you audibly gasp? No judgement, we did. This ring is stunning. It looks like Blake’s sporting a rose gold mounting (we think, those pinkish tones on the prongs and wedding band are our clues), with her engagement ring sporting a three-row diamond pave eternity band. Oh, and a massive brilliant cut oval shape diamond! Awaiting the official statement from Lorraine Schwartz (who designed Blake’s ring, naturally), allow us to wildly speculate that rock’s carat weight. Calculating…ogling…drooling…computing: we’re going with 5 carats as a conservative estimate. It could easily be 7 or more. The color also happens to be remarkably gorgeous, it’s no doubt D-F, making this a truly exquisite diamond.

What we love almost as much as Blake’s engagement ring is that wedding band. Rather than attempting to match the center stone’s bling (quite a feat), Blake paired a delicate and simple eternity band with the sparkler. A single row of diamonds bead set into rose gold looks so sweet and classic with this ring. Congratulations, Blake Lively. You’ve won our Celebrity Engagement Ring of the Year (so far) Award.
