JewelGram turns your Instagrams into Jewelry
Diamonds aren’t the only thing that is forever. Now your Instagram photos can be turned into a beautiful piece of everlasting beauty. Thanks to a jewelry designer, a software programmer and a bottle of sparkling Italian wine gold, silver and a little plastic can be married with your favorite photo to produce a ring or pendant.
It was only a few months ago that Gianpiero Riva and Michele Marzotto, both self-admitted Instagram addicts, came up with this totally unique and innovative idea. While sharing a bottle of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene, the two friends dreamed up the idea. Sometime later, their inspiration became reality with the birth of JewelGram.
Jewelry designer Michele Marzotto of Atelier Forma Designs does the designing by using modern, simple shapes that can support the high resolution Instagram photos. Electronic engineer and software programmer Gianpiero Riva managed the development of the JewelGram website where you can view the collection. Your photos can be printed onto the rings and pendants with a dye-sublimation printing technique. This process produces a great resemblance of the photo right onto the jewel’s surface. The Inkwell rings and pendants are fashioned of high-quality silver. The Kelvin collection of rings and pendants are in gold.
