Iggy Azalea’s Engagement Ring!

The ‘Fancy’ singer now sports a very fancy yellow on her ring finger. The rapper’s boyfriend, Nick Young, who plays for the LA Lakers, proposed at his 30th birthday party last night!

In this video, Young is seen getting down on bended knee to ask Iggy if she’ll be his wife:

Young, who’s been dating Iggy since 2014, recently said:

“”Me and Iggy just bought a house. We’ve been getting really close lately. I’ve never been with somebody like this. So, I’m taking it as a challenge.”

Sources say Iggy was totally surprised and is elated to marry the guy she’s known is “The One” for some time now. And with the ring he created, we can’t blame her!

Young worked with jeweler Jason Arasheben to design a ring that perfectly suited Iggy’s personality. He chose a stunning 8.15 carat fancy intense yellow diamond (it looks like a radiant cut, but might possibly be an elongated cushion cut.) The setting is an over the top glam halo with an additional 2+ carats of white diamonds, bringing the ring’s weight to a whopping 10.43 carats.

According to Jason (as in, Of Beverly Hills), “Nick started throwing around ideas of possible ring styles nearly two months ago. He really took his time and made four separate trips to see me. He knew he wanted a cushion-shape stone. He was very meticulous and changed minor details on the design a few times until we both felt it was perfect. He was really determined to create the perfect ring for her.”

Congratulations to the happy couple, and really, congratulations to us all with this addition of new celebrity engagement ring eye candy!
