The star-studded cast of “The Expendables 2″ knows how to dress, right down to their wrist watches. We picked some of our favorites and called out their style.
Sly Stallone has quite the penchant for Panerai watches. Seen here in “The Expendables 2″, he wears a Panerai Luminor 1950 Regatta Rattrapante. He discovered the brand in 1995 while in Rome for the movie “Daylight.” He has since given them as gifts to many friends and is frequently wears the brand on screen. This particular model is only one of 500, has a split-second chronograph, and is waterproof to 100 meters. It’s also an incredibly stunning wristwatch.
Sly isn’t the only fan of Panerai watches, Jason Statham can be seen above sporting the Panerai PAM074 in “The Transporter.” This particular model is difficult to find; the titanium case, three-counter chronograph and Zenith el primero movement are exquisite. Note the size of Statham’s forearms; this watch is sizeable enough to fit him well. Someone with skinny arms might look elsewhere.
Jet Li prefers a watch of a different type, recently partnering with Hublot to release his own branded watch, The Hublot Big Bang Jet Li watch. The watch is black ceramic and had a limited production run of 200 pieces. Unlike many of the watches popular in North America, this watch was created for the Chinese market. The case is only 44mm wide, appropriately sized for Chinese preferences.
Chuck Norris doesn’t wear a watch. He decides what time it is.
When Terry isn’t selling Old Spice and crashing through walls, he’s often sighted sporting fantastic wrist wear. In this picture, he wears a Bell & Ross BR04-92 Automatic Watch. This watch is beefy enough to show up on Terry’s gigantic arms, but classy enough to stand out at a Hollywood premiere. The BRO4 has a stainless steel case, automatic movement, and is water resistant to 100 meters. The crystal face is scratch-resistant sapphire.
